We realize though that

Education is a shared responsibility

To do the job well, we need parents

Parents, a special word to you

Our students, your children;

You feed, fend for, feel their fears

Prepare them, pray for them

Yours to cherish but a while

You entrust them to us, we accept them

Teach them, challenge them, show them

Train and expand their minds

Help them live by the rules

Ours to cherish but a while

Together we are truly blessed

We raise them up

So they can stand on mountains

To walk those stormy seas

They are strong

When we can work together

To all that they can be.

This is our pledge

We’ll put the luster back into teaching

With many a minding turn

If we work in tandem, we will not fail
