Guidelines for taking the exam

Be ready
# Test yourself to be sure you know the material. 

Be rested
# Get at least 5 or 6 hours of sleep the night before an exam

Be fed
# You need to be alert. Eat a light brealfast or lunch

Be positive
# Say “I’ll do my best” and not “ I can’t do this”.

Be on time
# Give yourself a chance to settle down

Be calm
# Close your eyes and take 3 deep breaths to reduce anxiety

Be systematic
#Look over the test. Budget your time. Read directions carefully

Be focused
# Read items carefully. Spend time on what you can answer

Be logical
 # Use the time you are given. Review your work before leaving
